Loch Lomond Elopement - Hannah + Sammy

A wild Scottish elopement is an incredible way to get married and when Hannah + Sammy got in touch to say they were eloping on the banks of Loch Lomond I was super excited to join them and capture their day.

The beauty of an elopement is that in Scotland you can literally get married anywhere, and outdoor wild weddings are 100% legal. (There’s still some forms to complete but you can get married up a mountain, at a loch, on a beach, you name it.) … and of course, Scotland is the most beautiful country in the world too, so why not take advantage of it.

Hannah and Sammy took a morning walk down to the loch and then spent the rest of the morning relaxing, drinking coffee and listening to music in their amazing log cabin. After meeting with their celebrant, we all walked down towards the beach on the edge of the spectacular Loch Lomond.

As the waves gently lapped upon the shore, they held hands and here Sammy told Hannah that he loved her and Hannah said that she loved him too.

Together, they drank fine whisky from the quaich and said their vows to each other. There was laughter and there were tears and at the end of it all they were married.
